I'm starting to panic a little because my Yukon's air conditioning just isn't keeping up with this heat anymore, and with summer fully upon us, I can't really afford to mess around with this. It's blowing cold, but it's not as cold as it used to be, and the fan seems to be working overtime just to maintain a reasonable temperature inside the cabin. I've already checked the cabin filter and topped up the refrigerant myself, but neither of those things made any difference, so I'm thinking it might be something more serious like the compressor or an expansion valve issue. The thing is, I've had some pretty bad experiences in the past with general workshops that claim they can work on American SUVs but end up just guessing their way through the job, and I really don't want to go through that again with something as critical as the AC. I've been doing some research and it seems like finding a place that offers Genuine GMC Service in Abu Dhabi is going to be my best bet because they'll actually have the proper diagnostic equipment and genuine parts rather than some aftermarket junk that'll fail again in six months. Has anyone here had AC work done on their Yukon or Tahoe recently, and if so, did you go to an independent specialist or did you just take it to the dealer? I'm open to either option as long as they actually know what they're doing and don't try to rip me off.
